Hi and welcome to Mamaw's Handdyes. Here you will find beautiful handdyed fabric and scarves that Judi herself dyed. We have recently updated our site with the addition of snowdyed fabric and jellyrolls. Check back often we are always adding something new.
ABOUT THE FABRIC
All my fabrics have been dyed one yard at a time, therefore you will find a difference from one yard to the next, not all pieces dye the same. All the fabric is the finest pfd 100% cotton and have been washed several times with hot water and synthrapol. Even though my fabrics have been washed several times I still suggest prewashing with synthropol.
ABOUT THE DYE
I use MX fiber reactive dyes that are permanent. The dye does not come out of the fabric after the correct processing.
